Policies & Procedures

You are responsible for advising your technician if you are using Retin A, glycolic acids, taking medications, or using other treatments conflicting with waxing or acid peels.

When receiving body wraps and bikini waxing, you may prefer to bring an extra thong or bikini and arrive freshly showered

All professional services, account payments and gift certificates are nonrefundable. The balance of unused certificate value will be refunded in the form of another certificate. Expired certificates may be redeemed for retail products only for up to one year after expiration date. Retail telephone and mail orders are available.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Spawish & Spafinder cards/certificates and cash.

Prepaid Reservation

All Spa Packages must be prepaid at the time of booking. For Bridal Party Services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. The remaining balances are required 30 days prior to the wedding date. New Client Hair Services, such as the Brazilian Blowout& Color Correction, and the body treatment, Peppermint Sea Twist Bodywrap, may require a 50% deposit at the time of booking as this enables your commissioned service provider to ensure your reservation and preparation.

Your reservation will be issued in the form of an Elite Salon & Day Spa Gift Certificate or an account payment; if reservation is a gift certificate, it will be held at the reception desk for payment processing. If this is a gift, you may request at the time of booking for us to mail the certificate to you or the recipient. You may also physically pick it up the gift certificate.Please refer to the cancellation and rescheduling policies for additional policies.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

While we realize that emergencies may occur, there will be a charge of 50% of the scheduled service for less than 48 hours notice of cancellation or rescheduling (72 hours for Friday, Saturday & Holiday appointments) and up to a 100% for any no-shows. This enables your service provider to receive his/her commission for loss of time. This also applies to gift certificate holders and clients with an account balance. Half of your certificate/account balance will be forfeited for less than 48 hours notice (72 hours for Friday & Saturday appointments) and the full value for no-shows.

Gift certificates are transferable but not refundable. An expiration extension may be requested for medical, maternal or military deployment circumstances with authentication.

Our highest volume days are Valentine's and Mother Day's and the Saturday preceding before and after, therefore reservations are prepaid and non refundable under any circumstances, during these periods.

Massage Consistency Club members, may request a hold on their agreement due to medical and maternal leave, with a doctor's authentication; military deployment and or employment relocation with letter/"orders" authentication. Annually the membership is renewed on a month to month basis and can be canceled after the initial first 12 months.

Massage Recipient

Therapist gender preference must be requested at the time of booking.

Check In

Gift certificates must be redeemed at the front desk before services are rendered.

Timing

Your time is important, as is ours, so please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. We cannot guarantee all requested services for late arrival.

Gratuity

We appreciate any and all gratuities. There will be a 20% gratuity added for Bridal Services and Package Parties of 3 or more. All other Services and Packages do not include gratuity. As a guideline, most clients tip from 15-25%.

Special Requests

If you would like to request to be in the same room with another client, you must add this request and the clients name, whom you would like to accompany, to the appointment details at the time of booking. You can also submit this request by calling the salon at: (904) 389-2554.
